Initial Assessment
During your first appointment you will undergo a complete examination including intra-oral photos to determine the state of your oral health and identify any areas that may require immediate or long-term care. Medical histories are noted and records are established for future reference.

Cleaning
Experience the joy of a healthier, fresher, brighter smile! Cleaning, or scaling, removes plaque (soft, sticky, bacteria infested film which forms everyday on teeth and causes tooth decay, gum disease),
tartar/calculus (plaque that has been left on teeth for a long time and gone hard, which then can only be removed from a professional cleaning)

Duration and appointments required to complete the cleaning depends on your current condition of the gums and the amount of tartar / calculus.

Polishing
Polishing your teeth is done to remove any extrinsic stains you may have on your teeth giving you that nice smile which will give you that extra confidence!

Fluoride Treatment
For individuals who may have excessive decay or sensitivity,  fluoride treatment help strengthen tooth enamel and supports the remineralization process, preventing or minimizing sensitivity. Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay by making the tooth more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It also reverses early decay.

Desensitizing
Sensitivity caused by receding gums or abrasion can be treated with the application of a desensitizing agent that blocks areas of your teeth which are exposed, reducing pain and sensitivity.

Sealants
The top surfaces of your teeth - where the chewing takes place - aren't smooth and flat. They are cris-crossed with tiny hills and valleys - called pits and fissures. These are places where plaque can build up. A method of preventing cavities from developing in the pits and fissures is to seal them off with a special varnish called a pit and fissure sealant
